Write Faster – Outlining and Effective Writing Sprints

March 26, 2016 @ 11:30 am – 3:30 pm

Presented By Amy Quinton

In today’s self-publish market, the name of the game appears to be writing fast with an eye toward increased production. So how do you do that? There are many ways to approach writing a novel. As writers, we are all different, and we must use whatever method works best for our writing style…whether it be panstering, plotting, or both. Not to mention, if you’re a plotter there are different ways to approach plotting and/or outlining your book… regardless of when or if you do it.

Many people say plotting to some level before writing increases production. This month, I’ll be presenting one such method, that may or may not work for you. In addition, I’ll be discussing writing sprints and how to make the most out of them… And finally, we’ll be having a couple of our own writing sprints – with prizes up for grabs to whoever manages the most number of words per sprint!

So be prepared with your laptop or a notepad (so long as you can determine how many words you’ve written), your WIP, and lets sprint!
